Artist's Comments

Here you can see my first nebula.
Here you can see my first terragen made scenario.
Here you can see my dream.

This was my first large project and I used several of days when I was creating it. It wasn't easy but I learned many new tricks ;)
This is the final version and I like it. Terragen is only thing that needs little more practise but I believe I can handle it after few more works.

I hope you can join when you are watching "the dreamer".

Wow. Just wow. The detail is astonishing. The colors have such depth in them that it just...wow. One thing though. I don't quite like the shadow on the character. It looks...dunno...fake(ish). Somehow not right. But other than that, this is a :star: :star: :star: :star: :star: piece of art.

How do you do the things you do?
The way you gather a star from abroken heart
And make it outshine the glowing moon

Really cool! Photoshop, right?
:iconvidea:
quite cool.
Typo needs some refining,
and the planet and its rings aren't top quality.
nebulae thing looks ok, but there's lot to improve,
I don't recommend using cloud filter that clearly, kinda disturbs,
and there's few parts with too intense lighting.
there's a cut in sunlight or whatever.
terrawork fits well and the skiman is a intresting extra.

Erm.. Well, does that planet take the lightburst from earth to the bottom side of the planet and violet/pink light from nebula? Though planet wouldn't take that much light from earths atmosphere, it should take it's light from sun.. Ah, too complicated to describe what I'm actually saying. You've wasted a lot of time to your works. I hope you will see the work I will add to my archive in a couple of weeks. The reason I'm speaking English is that other people can read my comment too, I'm from Finland too.
There is some things you should fix out, for instance the shade of that guy over there, and one other thing is that brush near nebula, it just doesn't fit in the picture. The starfield is another thing you should fix over there, make it look deeper.
Cool Things in the picture is those bright light bursts, you really know how to use colours and you made it to look really unreal (well duh, the name of the picture is "The Dreamer" ). If I should give grades to this piece of art, it'd be too hard, there's so much artists doing things like these, representing varies of levels. I think you might have seen art pieces of greg martin ( [link] ). He is my idol doing this kind of art and when comparing to him you get grade 7 (from 4 to 10). Well, if telling the truth I'd grade my works by the grade of 5½ so nothing to worry about, you're doing great (you're few steps ahead me). If you had the time to read this comment of mine, thank you. Good luck to the next challenges!

Jumalauta nää sun kuvat on hienoja! :)

i have to agree, with vidde! the typo needs correction, the typo and the border fucks everything up. Keep that in mind. If you intend of putting a border be on the guard how u place the typo. It makes a big difference, trust me!

Please.... remember this is my first real space work.... I keep in mind next time to make it more "realistic".

Everyone is an artist, only the style of art might be missing.
:icongreenbee:

Some things seem just impossible to keep.
How long since I felt?
